Leendert Vooijce

Out of the long standing collaboration with Leendert, lots of video and photography has been created in the context of their autonomous work. Like the video work here is ground and vault (2023), in which the poetry of the loner and her lovers (2024) takes place in the nature of island Vlieland. This video triptych was shown in Museum Tromp’s Huys on Vlieland during Into The Great Wide Open 2023.
For their first solo performance WOULD YOU LOVE ME (2025) in Oosterkerk Amsterdam, this trailer was created, as was a short photo series. In this theatrical performance piece, the spectator is invited to share in Leendert’s gender quest, a movement between masculinity and femininity.
